Call useRef once inside every array iteration
Use one ref attribute and expect current to become an array
Store nodes in state during rendering
Use callback refs to maintain a Map or array stored in one ref
Hooks cannot be called inside loops, and one object ref holds one current value. Callback refs can add and remove list nodes from a Map or array held by a single ref.
